Attorney Profile
Ms. Sanchez graduated from Harvard Law School in 2001, and then served as law clerk to the Hon. William M. Nickerson of the United States District Court in Maryland. Beginning in 2002, she served as a trial attorney for the Public Defender Service of Washington, D.C., where she represented clients in felony and juvenile cases, from arraignment through trial and sentencing. She then worked as an associate at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips in Los Angeles, California, where she represented individual and corporate clients in connection with federal and state criminal proceedings, grand jury subpoenas, and criminal and regulatory investigations. Ms. Sanchez is an active member of the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and sits on the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Sanchez also has an active civil litigation practice in the areas of employment law, construction law, and general commercial litigation.
