Attorney Profile
For more than 19 years, Susan Kery's law practice has focused primarily in the area of natural resources law, with a particular emphasis on water quantity and water quality issues. Susan represents individuals, as well as institutional and governmental clients, in all areas of water resources planning. She has appeared in a number of district court and administrative proceedings in which both water quantity and water quality issues have been litigated. Susan served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Mexico Office of the State Engineer, and in that capacity represented New Mexico in water adjudication proceedings. She also served as an Assistant General Counsel for the State of New Mexico Environmental Improvement Division, representing New Mexico in a wide range of environmental matters. Susan is certified as a Natural Resources Specialist in Water Law by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization.
